Job Title: Commercial Real Estate Loan Analyst
Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid, 2 days per week)
Pay Rate: $26/hour
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-driven and organized Commercial Real Estate Loan Analyst to support the underwriting and lending teams throughout the loan lifecycle. This role involves coordinating documentation, conducting initial financial analyses, managing underwriting files, and ensuring timely administrative and analytical support. The ideal candidate is analytical, dependable, and comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Contact commercial members to gather required financial documentation

Review and organize incoming documents for completeness and accuracy

Assemble and maintain underwriting files using standardized naming conventions

Create and manage underwriting and closing checklists

Prepare initial DSCR (debt service coverage ratio) calculations

Pull credit bureau reports for new loan requests and annual reviews

Coordinate third-party appraisals and environmental reports with loan officers

Conduct property inspections within the Denver Metro area (approx. 10% travel)

Assist with coordinating inspections for out-of-region properties

Draft annual loan reviews for finalization by senior credit analysts

Track and maintain loan documentation consistently and accurately

Perform additional administrative and analytical tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Experience & Education:

Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial banking, credit analysis, or commercial real estate (internships accepted)

High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in finance, accounting, or real estate preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

Ability to manage a high volume of administrative and analytical tasks efficiently

Clear, professional communication with both internal and external stakeholders

Strong judgment in handling sensitive or confidential information

Ability to work independently while managing medium-term initiatives

Proficiency in document management and loan tracking systems
Work Environment:

Primarily office-based with hybrid flexibility

Desk/computer work is the norm

Up to 10% travel for on-site commercial real estate inspections
