The Operations System Administrator directly supports our engineering team in their efforts to design, configure, and release everything from small components to full-fledged products and system designs. In this role, the administrator will bring the current Siemens Teamcenter and NX implementation and maintenance to the next level as we move towards our first launch and beyond.


You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment, contributing to innovative solutions, while demonstrating personal leadership, technical competence, and attention to detail. A willingness to branch outside your comfort zone is essential; we are a small fast-paced company, and everyone pitches in when needed. This is an opportunity to get in near the ground floor of an expanding start up and have a direct impact on the development and production of a completely new space launch vehicle.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·        Design and deploy configurations for Teamcenter and NX

·        Data Model (BMIDE)

·        Business Logic (ACLs, Organization, Workflows)

·        User Interface (Stylesheets, Preferences, Queries)

·        NX options, preferences, and best practices

·        Work closely with engineering departments to understand processes, improve efficiency, and help create effective business process solutions

·        Coordinate with external consultants to provide additional Teamcenter and NX support

·        Develop and execute strategies for PLM, CAD, and CAM system functionality implementation

·        Provide end user support and mentoring



·        Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or Computer Science preferred

·        Experience with configuration and support of PLM systems (preferably Teamcenter)

·        Experience with configuration and support of CAD and CAM systems (preferably NX)

·        Experience with engineering/business processes in low volume, high complexity industries

·        Willingness to work flexible hours as necessary

·        US Person as defined in 22 CRF Part 120.15 (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees and those given asylum in the United States, and temporary residents granted amnesty) since work includes ITAR controlled technical data
