Salary: Approximately $90,000

We're partnering with a fast-growing security technology organization that's expanding its presence in Western Colorado and looking for an experienced Security Installation Technician to join its Glenwood Springs team.

We're looking for someone who can walk onto a job site, understand what needs to happen, work through problems, communicate professionally with the customer, and take ownership of getting the job done.
What You'll Do

Install, configure, service, and troubleshoot commercial security systems

Work across access control, video surveillance, cameras, and related low-voltage technologies

Run and terminate low-voltage/data cabling as needed

Take ownership of work at customer job sites and keep projects moving

Diagnose field issues and develop practical solutions without constant supervision

Coordinate professionally with customers, project teams, and other technicians

Travel to customer and project sites throughout Western Colorado

Help set the standard for quality, organization, and professionalism in the field
What We're Looking For

Strong hands-on experience installing commercial security systems

Experience with access control and video surveillance/CCTV systems

Solid low-voltage and data-cabling fundamentals

Ability to troubleshoot security hardware and field installation issues

Confidence working independently and taking ownership of a job site

Strong communication and customer-service skills

Dependable, organized, resourceful, and comfortable solving problems in the field

Comfortable working on ladders, at active job sites, and in outdoor environments

Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs

Must live within a practical daily commute of Glenwood Springs
Nice to Have
Experience with commercial security platforms such as Genetec, Axis, Avigilon, Bosch, HID, Assa Abloy, Salto, or similar technologies is a plus, but specific manufacturer experience isn't the deciding factor.
We're much more interested in finding someone with strong security installation fundamentals who can learn new systems, troubleshoot effectively, and confidently own their work in the field.
Fiber experience and relevant security, low-voltage, or AV certifications are also a plus.
