Job Title: Commercial Credit Analyst (Contract)

Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid – 2 days on site per week)
Contract Duration: 4+ months (with potential extension)
Compensation: $40+/hr

Overview:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Credit Analyst to support a financial institution in evaluating credit risk for commercial lending portfolios. This contract role involves financial statement analysis, risk assessment, and preparing concise credit memos to support underwriting decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and cash flows of commercial clients

• Assist in underwriting and preparing credit approval packages

• Conduct industry and market research to assess borrower risk

• Monitor portfolio performance and assist in risk rating updates

• Collaborate with lending officers and credit teams

Qualifications:

• 2–5+ years of commercial credit analysis or underwriting experience

• Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis and credit risk

• Experience with CRE, C&I, or SBA lending is a plus

• Proficiency in Excel and credit systems (e.g., Moody’s, Sageworks)

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
