About the Role

We're seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer who thrives at the intersection of technology, customers, and problem-solving.

This is not a traditional software engineering position, nor is it a typical solutions engineering role. You'll partner directly with enterprise customers to understand complex business challenges, design AI-powered solutions, and guide implementations from discovery through production.

You'll work closely with executives, operational leaders, product teams, and software engineers to solve real-world problems while helping customers successfully adopt next-generation AI technology.

What You'll Do

  • Own enterprise customer engagements from discovery through successful production deployment

  • Lead technical discovery sessions, solution design, and product demonstrations

  • Translate complex business workflows into scalable AI-powered solutions

  • Serve as the primary technical advisor throughout customer implementations

  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to prioritize features and improve the platform

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and guide customers through successful deployments

  • Build trusted relationships with technical and executive stakeholders

  • Drive successful proof-of-value engagements and long-term customer success

  • Contribute to product strategy through direct customer feedback

  • Help build and shape a high-performing engineering culture

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as:

    • Forward Deployed Engineer

    • Solutions Engineer

    • Implementation Engineer

    • Technical Consultant

    • Technical Account Manager

    • Similar customer-facing engineering role

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another technical discipline

  • Experience owning customer relationships from discovery through implementation

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and executive stakeholders

  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in ambiguous environments

  • Experience deploying modern software solutions into production

  • Proficiency with TypeScript or the ability to quickly become productive with it

Preferred Qualifications

  • Former founder or founding engineer experience

  • Early-stage startup experience

  • Experience building or deploying AI agents, LLM applications, or AI-powered workflows

  • Enterprise software implementation experience

  • Full-stack engineering background

  • Experience partnering closely with Product and Engineering teams

Location: New York City

Schedule: Full-time, five days per week in office

Compensation: $185,000–$230,000 base salary plus competitive equity
