Job Title: Jamf Desktop Support Specialist
Location: Aurora, CO (225 & Colfax)
Terms: 6 month contract
Pay: $28/hour

The ideal candidate will have experience with Jamf Pro and a strong understanding of macOS environments. You will provide technical support, manage device deployments, and ensure the smooth operation of Apple devices within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Device Management:
    • Deploy, configure, and manage macOS devices using Jamf Pro.
    • Create and maintain policies, profiles, and scripts for effective device management.
  • Technical Support:
    • Provide tier 1 and tier 2 support for end-users, addressing hardware and software issues.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve macOS-related problems, including application installations and system updates.
  • User Onboarding:
    • Assist with the onboarding process for new employees, including device setup and configuration.
    • Educate users on best practices for macOS and Jamf usage.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other IT team members to ensure seamless integration of Apple devices within the organization.
    • Participate in projects related to device lifecycle management and upgrades.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience in desktop support or IT support roles, preferably with a focus on macOS.
    • Hands-on experience with Jamf Pro or similar MDM solutions.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of macOS, including troubleshooting and support.
    • Familiarity with networking concepts and Active Directory integration.
  • Certifications:
    • Jamf certification is a plus (e.g., Jamf 200 Certified).
    • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) certification is also advantageous.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
