Location: REMOTE
Terms: 1 year contract with possible extension
Rate: $35-40/hour
Benefits: Health Insurance, 401k, and paid Holidays
Day in the Life:
- Provides timely service on cases to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA) are met
- Provides sound underwriting judgement on all cases to ensure mortality objectives are met
- Provide signing authority up to $1 million
- Adheres to regulatory requirements
- Collect, review, and analyze applicant’s relevant history and records
- Obtain additional applicant information to determine coverage needs
- Offer recommendations on whether or not to approve an application
- Evaluate claims for accuracy and coverage amount
Qualifications:
- Industry coursework/designations (FALU, FLMI, CLU, etc.)
- Involvement with local, regional, and/or national underwriting organizations
