- Duration: 3-month contract
Details:
The maintenance specialist responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Manages projects to ensure project risk assessments, scheduling, and commissioning are completed
• Manages aesthetics of the facility including but not limited to paint, Wall vinyl, floor tile, mill work, Counter tops, hand rails, and Ceiling tile
• Manages safety policies including but not limited to hot work, red tag, above ceiling permit, and interim life safety.
• Manages life safety features of facilities including but not limited to fire system suppression, fire alarm, smoke fire partitions, and egress.
• Assist with risk ranking and estimating jobs for cost effectiveness utilizes life safety drawings, National Fire protection association codes and the Joint Commission standards.
• The maintenance specialist reports to the department manager or director. This position may have additional or varied physical demand or respiratory fit test requirements. • May frequently push loads up to 480 lbs must climb ladders frequently climbs up to five flights of stairs potential exposure to electricity, hot water pipes and electrical wiring, extreme cold, use of power equipment, and working with small spaces and heights.

Job Qualifications:
• One-year vocational training resulting in a certificate or equivalent hospital experience
• 3 years of experience in hospital maintenance or with managing projects
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English
• This job requires the incumbents to operate company owned vehicles or personal vehicle therefore must have a current Oklahoma State driver’s license as well as a driving record which is acceptable to their insurance carrier
