Key Responsibilities

Perform high-quality mammography exams in compliance with radiation safety standards.

Prepare, position, and guide patients through procedures with clarity and compassion.

Enter and monitor patient data to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Conduct quality assurance testing on mammography equipment; support accreditation efforts.

Report accidents, concerns, or equipment issues promptly to leadership.

Take part in departmental emergency call rotations.

Serve as a mentor and resource to less experienced technologists.

Uphold organizational values by focusing on patient safety, quality of care, and team collaboration.
Qualifications
-
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology; completion of an approved program in Mammography Technology.

Licenses/Certifications:
-
Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).

Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.

Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R).

Registered Mammography Technologist (ARRT-M).

Minimum 4 years of Mammography Technologist experience.

Ability to lift and maneuver patients safely with team assistance.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first approach.
