Remote Help Desk Specialist
This position is a 6-month Contract-to-Hire, hourly position paying $28/hr W2.
Required Experience and Education:
- Associate degree in Information Technology or a closely related field, or the equivalent combination or work experience and education High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to end users
- Ability to research and troubleshoot computer hardware and software issues
- Must have a sincere desire to help others while providing friendly service
- Some travel may be required
Preferred Skills:
- Microsoft Windows PC support
- Microsoft Office Application support
- Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory account management
- Manage support requests in a Service Management tool such as FreshService
- Network file backup and recovery
- Virus protection software administration
- Remote Desktop support using tools such as Bomgar or Zoom
- Video conferencing software such as Zoom
