Remote Help Desk Specialist


This position is a 6-month Contract-to-Hire, hourly position paying $28/hr W2.

 

 

Required Experience and Education:

  • Associate degree in Information Technology or a closely related field, or the equivalent combination or work experience and education High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to end users
  • Ability to research and troubleshoot computer hardware and software issues
  • Must have a sincere desire to help others while providing friendly service
  • Some travel may be required

 

 Preferred Skills:

  • Microsoft Windows PC support
  • Microsoft Office Application support
  • Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory account management
  • Manage support requests in a Service Management tool such as FreshService
  • Network file backup and recovery
  • Virus protection software administration
  • Remote Desktop support using tools such as Bomgar or Zoom
  • Video conferencing software such as Zoom
