Senior / Staff AI Product Engineer
Compensation: $225,000 – $300,000 Base Salary + Equity
Location: San Francisco, CA (5 days onsite)
We're partnering with a venture-backed AI startup that's building an AI-powered personal assistant designed to proactively help users manage work, communication, relationships, and daily workflows.
The company recently raised a $55M Series A led by one of Silicon Valley's most respected venture firms, bringing total funding to $73M. Since launch, they've reached thousands of active users, are growing 30-50% week-over-week, and are seeing retention metrics that rival some of the most successful consumer software products ever built.
The founding team includes engineering and AI leaders who previously helped scale category-defining companies and products used by millions. They've assembled a senior-only engineering organization where everyone ships, everyone talks to customers, and everyone has direct influence on the product.
They're now hiring Senior and Staff-level AI Product Engineers to help build the next generation of AI-native software.
What You'll Do

Own products and features from idea to production

Build AI-powered user experiences that directly impact thousands of active users

Work closely with founders, designers, and customers to identify problems and rapidly ship solutions

Design and build new workflows, integrations, automations, and product experiences

Use AI-native development workflows to dramatically increase engineering velocity

Help shape product direction, architecture decisions, and technical strategy as the company scales
What They're Looking For

5+ years of software engineering experience

Strong product ownership and end-to-end execution experience

Experience building and shipping customer-facing products in production environments

Background at high-growth startups and/or elite engineering organizations

Strong full-stack engineering capabilities with backend depth

Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous startup environments

AI-native development mindset and daily use of tools like Cursor, Claude, OpenAI, Codex, or similar
Strong Signal Backgrounds
