Epic Placements is partnering with a respected healthcare organization in Charleston, SC to identify a Talent Acquisition Specialist for a 13-week contract assignment with strong potential for permanent hire.
This is not just a recruiter role — this is a strategic, consultative position supporting hard-to-fill clinical and leadership teams. You’ll serve as the primary recruitment partner to assigned departments, working closely with operational leaders to attract high-quality talent in specialized healthcare areas.
This assignment supports a leave of absence and requires a quick onboarding timeline. Candidates must be prepared to move efficiently through credentialing and be open to potential permanent employment if the fit is right.
What You’ll Do

Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned clinical and specialty areas

Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans using both active and passive recruiting techniques

Source talent through job boards, social media platforms, networking, and targeted outreach

Serve as the primary recruitment contact for department leaders

Partner with hiring managers to identify barriers, improve hiring workflows, and implement best practices

Provide data-informed recommendations to enhance hiring outcomes

Ensure compliance with recruitment policies and applicable employment regulations

Maintain accurate documentation within the applicant tracking system (Workday experience preferred)

Healthcare recruitment experience in these areas is highly beneficial.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience (One of the following):

Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field and at least 1 year of full-cycle recruitment experience

OR Bachelor’s Degree plus 2 years of related experience (college recruitment, marketing, project management, sales, or agency staffing)

OR High School Diploma and at least 2 years of full-cycle recruitment experience
Certifications:
-
PHR or SHRM-CP strongly preferred
-
Certification may substitute for one year of experience
Additional Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to build and execute recruiting strategies

Strong stakeholder partnership and communication skills

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment

Experience with Workday or similar ATS systems

Ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and urgency
