We’re partnering with a leading healthcare organization in Oklahoma City to find a skilled Telecommunications Technician who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, work with advanced voice and data systems, and keep critical communication lines running across a major medical campus.
This is a full-time, on-site contract opportunity—ideal for someone who takes pride in precise installations, structured cabling work, and solving technical challenges that keep essential systems online.
What You’ll Do

Install, configure, and test voice, data, and video communication systems

Run, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cabling (Cat5e/6/6a, fiber)

Troubleshoot connectivity, hardware, and performance issues

Maintain up-to-date wiring diagrams and system documentation

Support VoIP systems, PBX installations, and call routing

Partner with IT and network teams to support integrated systems

Conduct site surveys and plan cable pathways and equipment placement

Provide technical support during system upgrades and migrations
What You Bring
-
2+ years of experience in telecom installation, service, or low-voltage systems
-
Working knowledge of structured cabling standards and VoIP/PBX systems
-
Proficiency with punch-down, cable testing, and fiber splicing tools

Ability to interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams
-
Solid troubleshooting, documentation, and teamwork skills

High school diploma or GED (associate degree or tech certification preferred)

Valid driver’s license and ability to move between buildings on campus

The Details

100% On-Site at the healthcare facility campus

Standard weekday schedule (no weekends or overtime)
- $25/hr contract with potential for extension or conversion
