Epic Placements is seeking a detail-oriented Release of Information Associate to support medical records and information requests in a fast-paced healthcare environment. In this role, you’ll be responsible for processing and releasing patient records while ensuring strict compliance with privacy, legal, and regulatory standards.

What You’ll Do

Safeguard the confidentiality and security of medical records in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Verify appropriate authorizations prior to the release of patient information.

Retrieve patient records and review them for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.

Perform the full release-of-information process using electronic medical record and hospital systems.

Meet established productivity and quality standards related to information release and customer service.

Provide professional telephone support to clients, guiding them through the release-of-information process.

Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed, including invoice processing, collections support, and releasing information to payers as part of the revenue cycle.
