IT Support Specialist II

Overview

We’re seeking a reliable, people-first IT Support Specialist II to join a long-term, on-site IT support team in downtown Denver. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, supporting end users face-to-face, and serving as a trusted technology partner across the organization.

You’ll play a key role in helping users adopt technology, resolve issues efficiently, and stay productive — all while delivering a high level of customer service. This is a stable, long-term contract opportunity with benefits, offering consistency, growth, and real impact.


What You’ll Do

  • Provide front-line support for end-user applications and services, including managing service desk calls and support tickets with professionalism and urgency

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues while maintaining an excellent customer experience

  • Assist users with onboarding and adoption of new technologies through hands-on guidance and training

  • Collaborate with internal IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues

  • Accurately document support requests, resolutions, and user interactions in ticketing systems

  • Develop and maintain user guides, FAQs, and other self-help documentation

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve service delivery and support processes


What We’re Looking For

  • Associate degree in a computer-related field or equivalent hands-on experience providing enterprise technical support

  • Strong foundational knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, hardware, common applications, and basic network troubleshooting

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users

  • Customer-focused mindset with patience, accountability, and a solutions-driven approach

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment


Physical & Travel Requirements

  • Ability to install IT equipment and cabling, including working under desks and furniture

  • Capable of lifting and moving IT equipment up to 60 pounds (with team assistance when needed)

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle

  • Occasional travel by car or airplane to support additional sites, including rare overnight stays


Work Environment

  • Fully on-site role based in downtown Denver

  • Standard Monday–Friday business hours

  • Reliable transportation required for commuting and transporting minor tools or equipment as needed
