We are seeking a talented System Administrator to join our team and support a prestigious client in the healthcare sector. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, managing, and supporting servers, networks, and infrastructure systems, ensuring they are robust, secure, and highly available.
Location: Addison, TX – hybrid (2-3 days/week remote)
Schedule: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm – will require flexibility to work after hours/weekends during unique situations. Able to flex time to leave early or start late to balance it out or work OT if approved.
Terms: 3 month contract to hire
Rate: $40-42/hour W2
Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Management: Design, manage, and support servers, networks, and infrastructure systems while introducing new and innovative solutions.
  • Environment Administration: Oversee VMware, NetApp, and Microsoft environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Utilize your expertise in VMware, Veem, Citrix, storage solutions, and application performance troubleshooting to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Data Center Operations: Provide on-site data center operations support, ensuring secure file transfer solutions and seamless system functionality.
  • Cloud Services Proficiency: Manage Microsoft Cloud Services, including Microsoft Arc Windows patching automation and application vulnerability management.
  • Administration and Deployment: Administer Microsoft O365 and deploy Okta for secure access management.
  • Documentation and Control: Maintain thorough documentation and configuration control of systems to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Compliance and Planning: Ensure compliance with security standards, patch management, business continuity/disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
  • Cross-Functional Interaction: Collaborate effectively with physicians, clinical staff, management, and vendors, providing technical support and solutions across departments.

Education and Work Experience:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years managing VMware, NetApp, and Microsoft environments.
  • Certifications: Relevant professional certifications are highly desirable.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline is highly desirable.
  • Training: Formal training and/or experience with storage systems (SAN, NAS, etc.) is desirable.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency and understanding of VMware, Veem, Citrix, storage solutions, application performance troubleshooting, and secure file transfer solutions.
  • Experience with on-site data center operations support.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Services, including Microsoft Arc Windows patching automation and application vulnerability management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft O365 administration and Okta deployment.
  • Excellent documentation and configuration control skills.
