IT Director – Application Development; Public Sector Services
Remote, some travel expected (HQ in Mississippi, occasional client-site travel)


The IT Director is accountable for the growth and development of technology platforms including the execution of the practice group’s vision for technology delivery and service for nationwide clients. The IT Director is charged with developing the technology team and collaborative efforts taking technology to market for federal, state and local clients. 

Responsibilities for IT Director

  • Oversee client service and operations
  • Hire, train, and manage public sector services IT team
  • Implement the practice group’s strategy for technology innovation and consistently excellent technology delivery
  • Guide the strategy for modernizing and scaling our technology platforms for external client needs
  • Collaborate with the partners to secure and manage technology revenues
  • Consult current and prospective clients to identify business and technology opportunities to optimize outcomes
  • Identify, recommend and implement continuous improvement of our technology platforms and client offerings
  • Develop and enforce performance standards for consistent technology delivery

Qualifications for IT Director

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Experience taking technology products and/or services to market
  • Experience working in IT operations, managing technology teams, and/or overseeing large information technology projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate and influence teams across the entire organization
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles
