Location: Lawton, Oklahoma (candidate must be willing to commute or relocate)

Salary: 75-85k; Sign-on Bonus

Must Have:

Certification- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in a least one of the advanced certifications, but preferably both.

Job Description:

• The registered Sonographer will provide ultrasound services, timely and efficiently, at appropriate levels to all patients and in all settings served by the department.
• The registered Sonographer will also perform tasks and duties as outlined in the Imaging Services Department’s Policy and Procedure Manual and will assist in assigned administrative tasks.
• Verifies patient and procedural information; prepares patients for exams; educates patients and family members; performs exams; processes films and communicates and transmits reports to physicians; complies and organizes data for radiologist; files films, stocks, prepares and cleans exam rooms; may schedule patients for procedures and transport patients.
• The registered Sonographer will maintain clinical competencies through participation in Hospital and Departmental educational and orientation programs.
