Must-Have:
Registered Nurse in North Carolina or Compact state is required  
Minimum of 3-5 years as charge nurse or supervisor in Med/Surg
Prior experience working in an acute care setting
BLS is required
AA in Nursing

Preferred:
Master's degree is preferred
Experience in a small community hospital

Description:
The Assistant Director of Nursing will organize, direct, and supervise the functions of the telemetry, Medical/Surgical and Medical/Telemetry. This includes policy and procedures are followed; safe staffing levels are maintained; supplies and equipment are at sufficient levels; and efficient patient throughput is managed.  This position will engage in ongoing quality and performance improvement and assures employees complete required annual competencies as well as maintain own professional growth and development in nursing leadership and required licensure.
