Location: Hybrid – on-site in Woodward, OK 73801 50% of the time
Rate: $35-40/hour DOE
Terms: 6 month contract to hire

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive support across various IT functions including server management, network maintenance, end-user assistance, and communications infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:

  • Server Support: Deploy and manage virtual servers, perform monthly patching, and ensure optimal server performance.
  • Network Support: Conduct monthly patching and troubleshoot network issues to maintain network integrity.
  • End-User Support: Provide technical assistance for PCs, network connectivity, and peripheral devices. Address and resolve user issues efficiently.
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System Support: Manage and support the hospital’s EMR system, MedHost. This includes generating reports, running queries, and performing system backups.
  • Communications Infrastructure Support: Oversee and maintain voice, data lines, video conferencing systems, and mobile devices to ensure seamless communication.

Experience Required:

  • Two years of experience in information systems.
  • Practical experience with the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, MedHost.

Education Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Alternatively, a Baccalaureate Degree in any field combined with two years of experience in business and/or information systems.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid Oklahoma state driver’s license and clean driving record
